The Sand Springs Community Theatre, a 501(c)(3) corporation was officially established in May of 2007 after receiving a grant through the city of Sand Springs.  The original committee consisted of only a handful of dedicated people who envisioned dramatic arts as a key component in the growth and renewal of our city.  We wanted to provide an outlet for our community members to literally “play a part” in this exciting endeavor.  We became incorporated June 26th, 2007 and began production.  Our first official meeting was held in July 2007.   Since those humble beginnings, we have successfully produced and/or hosted fifteen theater events including a well-received Children's Theater Workshop production.

We are looking forward to another great season of theater in Sand Springs. Our location is to be determined per show.

With four full seasons behind us, we are a bit awe-struck over the success of SSCT and The Page Players.  We have established a strong base of support and are excited to be a part of the progressive future of Sand Springs.  We have great visions for the arts in our area.

Sand Springs Community Theater is committed to developing a company which is respectfully dedicated to the exploration and celebration of the performing arts.  Our company will strive to appeal to the entire community by catering to all ranges of age and ability to provide positive interaction among our citizens.  This cultural connection through the medium of theatre arts should strive to educate, inform, and entertain, as we seek to stimulate progressive and cooperative development in our community of Sand Springs.
