FOOLS
A comedy by Neil Simon
Directed by Jennifer Burke
February 18-21, 2010   Curtain 8pm, Sunday matinee 2pm

The Page Players will be revisiting the talents of Neil Simon as we kick off 2010 with his classic comedy, Fools.  Leon Tolchinsky is ecstatic. He's landed a terrific teaching job in an idyllic Russian hamlet. When he arrives he finds people sweeping dust from the stoops back into their houses and people milking upside down to get more cream. The town has been cursed with Chronic Stupidity for 200 years and Leon's job is to break the curse. No one tells him that if he stays over 24 hours and fails to break the curse, he too becomes Stupid. But, he has fallen in love with a girl so Stupid that she has only recently learned how to sit down.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER

In this hilarious Christmas tale, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids-- probably the most inventively awful kids in history. Adapted from the best selling book, you won't believe the mayhem-- and the fun-- when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on. SSCT is proud to present this classic production in conjunction with our annual Children’s Christmas workshop.
